All PEUGEOT, CITROËN and DS AUTOMOBILES genuine parts come with a minimum of 12 months parts warranty from date of purchase. The warranty covers any defect due to faulty material or manufacture.
Defects resulting from fair wear and tear, improper operation, overloading, accident, neglect or alteration are excluded, as are parts used in competitions, racing or record attempts.
Parts replaced under warranty are not guaranteed beyond the period of the original part's warranty period. For example, if a part with a 12-month warranty is replaced after six months, the replacement part will only be under warranty for the remaining six months and not the full term of 12 months.
Defective parts should be returned promptly to the Distrigo Parts Distributor they were purchased from, with relevant purchase invoice and repair invoice highlighting make, model, registration and VIN. This should include a record of the mileage at the time the part was replaced, and a note of the mileage at the time the part became faulty. No claim for labour will be accepted.
